The much awaited Annual Sports day of Sri Ramakrishna Central school was held on Saturday 29th with great zeal and zest. The event commenced with our Principal Mrs.Priscilla Rani felicitating the chief guest Mr.Vijay ,IFS- Conservator of forest and the guest of honor Mr.Avinash, Cricketer and athlete.
Students lit the ceremonial torch followed by a spectacular and well organized march past by all the four houses- Agni,Vayu,Jala,Prithvi.
Mr.Vijay motivated the students by delivering a speech on the importance of having self belief and working hard towards the goal.
Mr.Avinash emphasized on the importance of sports in a person’s life.
The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the sports captain.
The students of yoga and karate mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances.
Students were felicitated and encouraged for winning state and national level championship in various sports.
Agni house won the trophy for the best March past and the Jala house received the maximum points and took away the best house trophy.
