INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION IN
SRI RAMAKRISHNA CENTRAL SCHOOL (CBSE), COIMBATORE
India’s 75th Independence Day was celebrated on 15 August 2022 at Sri Ramakrishna Central School (CBSE) with great fervor and gaiety. The programme began with a prayer song and Tamil thaiVazhthu. Students were very proud and glad in welcoming the gathering of the day.
To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, our School Principal Mrs. Priscilla Rani unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the flag song. To keep alive the flame of Patriotism the students from classes VI to VIII presented cultural events which awakened everyone’s feelings towards our responsibilities as an Indian citizen. Students performed by wearing different costumes of our Political leaders and gave a declamation on stage. Students from Grade X enacted a mine show based on Unity in Diversity. Our school Principal madam also gave a very motivational and patriotic speech.
Vote of thanks was proposed which expressed the gratitude for the whole hearted co-operation for everyone who supported for the success of the programme.
At Sri Ramakrishna Central School (CBSE) it was indeed a day of joy, love and respect for the country and the students urged to make India a better place for Indians. JAI HIND.
